Defining the Scope

This first step allows defining the version you want to export as well as the export mode.

  • Answer the questions of the displayed dialog
    • Version to export
    • Fix to export
    • Export mode
    • Scope options:
    • All Worskpaces – All content: will export every object from every workspace, including BDTs that are not tied to any BRC.
    • Current Workspace – All content: same as above except you are targeting only your current workspace
    • Current Workspace – Select content: you can filter down the content of current workspace. You may miss objects (like BDTs) that are not tied to BRCs.
  • [In the menu toolbar]
    • Click on the save button
  • Depending on the type of export you may have access to the following step ‘Select the Content’
    information: Whenever selecting a version to export, the available fixes that can be chosen are the following:
    • The working fix: in this case, the export will take into account the last status of the version
    • Fix (x): in this case, the export will take into account the last fix of the version, but not any modifications which are in the working version
    • -: this corresponds to the export of the original "unfixed" version
