Testing and Tracking
Once all the setup described is achieved, you can test and track the call from CPQ to AvaTax. If you have defined a button in the Quote interface to calculate tax for one or all the products in the Quote, click it at runtime to launch a request.
If successful, the Quote column storing the tax amount should be updated accordingly. Otherwise, an error message will be displayed in the message flyer of the Quote.
If activated, you have the ability to view the request to and response from AvaTax in the log file by leveraging the CPQ Designer Manage File menu:
