Known Limitations
Grant Login Access (GLA)/Log-On-Behalf Limitation
There is currently a Salesforce limitation that prevents OAuth when admin users log on as another user.
The result of this is that you cannot do the following:
- Log in as an admin user
- Use the "log as" feature of Salesforce to login as another user (say, "Jon Connely")
- Open Smart CPQ as Jon
More info can be found on Salesforce.
Connected Apps
AUTHORIZED USERS
"Smart CPQ Authentication" Connected App is a packaged Connected App used for data synchronization between CPQ and Salesforce. When Salesforce is the Identity Provider chosen to authenticate users for accessing Performance Quoting UI, a "locale" Connected App must be created as part of initial setup (the name of this app is only known by the implementation team). The Resource Provider is the App Portal (AppPortal).
Only Salesforce Profiles are registered in App Portal. Permissions Sets are not supported.
