    • Fulfillment of the quote with standard/customized products and/or services with their associated pricing, promotions and margin information
    • Application of additional discounts
    • Triggering of the approval process reflecting the pricing and quoting policies of the company

organization.

information: CPQ for Force.com can be used as a standalone entity and shared through SFDC Customer and Partner portals (depending on your licenses).

The CPQ for Force.com can also be embedded in Force.com Sites.

PROS Quote Entity Overview

CPQ provides a Force.com PROS Quote entity tightly linked to a CPQ Quote object.

The Force.com PROS Quote entity (part of the Managed Package) includes a default integration with an Account and a Primary Contact entity. Moreover, it can communicate with any other Salesforce external entity thanks to a flexible parameterization tool: the PROS Mapping Set.

The Force.com PROS quote entity can be released multiple times but only one release is active at a given time. This active release is synchronized with CPQ content.

The quote description, the status and the generated proposals are automatically synced between CPQ and Force.com

All additional data (standard or custom) stored in the Force.com entity (or in any entity linked to the quote) can be used on CPQ side as business rule inputs for example. Similarly, information modified from CPQ can be re-synchronized into the Force.com entity (or any linked entity).

information: The exact data synchronization process depends on the implementation designed according to your business requirements.

A powerful parameterization of the Force.com PROS Quote is possible by modifying the Custom Settings and the PROS Mapping Sets entity that define the way Salesforce.com and CPQ communicate.

information: CPQ for Force.com also includes 2 custom objects (Custom1, Custom2) that will allow to implement custom logic depending on your projects.
