It is possible from Salesforce on iPad to launch a configurable process, create a quotation and generate a PDF proposal via the Smart CPQ application.

The standard integration process starts from Salesforce where the user creates the quote object. Then with Smart CPQ app, the user will fulfill his quote and synchronize the result back to SFDC.

Two solutions allow to access to the Smart CPQ application from SFDC:

• A Smart CPQ URL (field) from the Quote object and included into the standard package allows to launch the mobile application from the quote object.
• A specific chatter action within the Salesforce1 app from the quote object (Please refer to the CPQ for SalesForce1 chapter).

The URL used to call the Smart CPQ application can be used to integrate this call from an external portal or web site for example. To ease this integration, the input parameters carried by the URL are gathered in a dedicated custom field named cameleonTouchParam within SFDC.
