Reactivating a Test Step

When you deactivate a test step, you stop its participation when you execute the test case. The test cases to which the test step belongs are deactivated. Even if you reactivate the test case, the test step remains inactive and does not participate in the execution.

You can reactive the test step to ensure its participation in the test case.

  1. On the Test Author home page, do one of the following to view the list of test steps that are already created.
    • Click Test Step in the right pane.
    • Go to Design > Test Step in the left pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In the Active column, toggle the switch.
    • Click on the name of the test step and click Edit. Toggle the Active button and click Update.
  3. Review the test cases in which the test step is participating. Click Yes.
