Reactivating a Test Step

When you deactivate a test step, you stop its participation when you execute the test case.

You can reactive the test step to ensure its participation in the test case. Once reactivated you need to go within each test case and enable the test step else it still remains disabled and does not participate in execution.

  1. On the Test Author home page, do one of the following to view the list of test steps that are already created.
    • Click Test Step in the right pane.
    • Go to Design > Test Step in the left pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • In the Active column, toggle the switch.
    • Click on the name of the test step and click Edit. Toggle the Active button and click Update.
  3. Review the confirmation message and click Yes.
