Working with Discovery AI

Compare Standard Clauses

Prerequisites

Import your documents into Conga CLM using Conga Discovery AI and compare clauses with the X-Author for Contracts Advanced plug-in.

To compare clauses imported from Conga Discovery AI

  1. Open Microsoft Word and log into the X-Author for Contracts Advanced add-in.
  2. From the Contracts pane, navigate to the Work tab and search for your imported document. Only properly generated documents appear when you open a contract document. Invalid or incomplete documents do not appear.
  3. To the right of the document name, click on Compare Clause with Standard Clause icon.
  4. Click the Difference tab to compare the clause text.
    • Blue text is matching text from the document and the Clause Library.
    • Black text is from the document.
    • Red text is from the Clause Library.
  5. Click the Actual tab to view content from the clause.
    Note:

    When you re-mark a clause and compare again, all text will display in blue to indicate the content now all matches.
