Getting Started

Enabling Document Save Location

You can configure a Document Save Location for templates and contracts in the App Details screen. Documents are saved to the specified location during check-out, regardless of the Auto Save setting, with error messages displayed if the path is invalid or inaccessible.
  1. In the X-Author for Contracts Advanced pane, click App Details.
  2. Check the Use Save Document Location checkbox.
  3. Enter the file path of your folder and click Save.
    Warning: Mac users must follow the format of the example file path or the file will continue to save in the default file path. The acceptable path for Mac is: /Users/<username>/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Documents/<custom folder name>
