Automating In-Flight Order Changes Using Order Workflows
You can now create Order Workflow Rulesets to automate In-Flight Order Changes (amending an order, cancelling an order, etc.). In-Flight Order Changes are automated by defining Workflow Rulesets. You can configure Workflow Rulesets to define the business context, triggering event, and criteria for the workflow to be executed. Workflow Rulesets contain Workflow Rules that then define the action or actions to take on the order based on certain inputs and criteria.
You can also manually trigger an Order Workflow by setting the "Ready for Workflow" flag on the order header for orders in "Pending," "In Fulfillment," or "Partially Fulfilled" status.
