Reviewing Import Results

Prerequisites

Import your documents into Conga CLM using Conga Discovery AI and review them with the X-Author for Contracts Advanced plug-in. Review Import Results and Insights options are only available for contract documents that have been uploaded through Discovery AI and marked as Ready for Review.

To review a document imported from Conga Discovery AI

Note: When you open a document through Review Import Results for Discovery AI, the Reconcile option is now always pre-selected.This is independent of the following Conga CLM Comply System Properties and X-Author Configuration Settings for Conga Advantage Platform:
  • Auto Enable Reconciliation

  • Allow Reconcile Selection Override

After opening a document through Review Import Results fot Discovery AI, making changes, then checking-in the contract document, the status in CLM changes from Ready to Review to the In Authoring status category and Author Contract status.

Review Import Results and Insights options are only available for contract documents that have been uploaded through Discovery AI and marked as Ready for Review.

When using the Account field as a lookup field, clicking Review Import Results and marking the Account field as missing results in the Account lookup field not fetching other values from the Advantage Platform.

To modify the value of the missing Account field, unmark the field and re-mark it with the updated value.

  1. Open Microsoft Word and log into the X-Author for Contracts Advanced add-in.
  2. From the Contracts pane, navigate to the Start tab and search for your imported document.
  3. In the search results, click the arrow next to your document name to expand the entry and click Documents.
  4. Click on the More button beside your document name and click Open.
  5. Under the Work tab, the More button and click Review Import Results.
  6. You can review Insights, Doc Clauses, and Doc Fields. If you do not see Doc Clauses or Doc Fields under the Work tab, click the More button from the menu.

To review Insights

  1. Click on the Insights tab. If you do not see Insights under the Work tab, click the More button from the menu.
  2. Click on the name of each extraction to view where it is located in your document. From this section, you can click on the More button to view the contract summary, mitigation guidance, risk details, resolve risk, or delete risk.

To review Doc Fields

  1. Click on the Doc Fields tab. If you do not see Doc Fields under the Work tab, click the More button from the menu.
  2. Extracted fields are listed under the Found and Missing tabs. These are based on the provisions you have selected. For more information on provisions and setting up extractions, see Provisions and Setting Up Data Extraction. Click on the name of each extracted field to view where it is located in your document. You can also search by Field Name.
    • Found: These are fields that have been successfully identified and marked in the document based on the provisions found. In the Found tab, you have the options to Re-Mark Field or Delete Field.

    • Missing: These are fields that have not been marked in the document based on the provisions found. To mark this text in the document, highlight the associated text in the document, then under the Missing tab, click the More icon next to the associated extraction and select Mark Field. The marked field will then display under the Found tab. If you unmark the field, it will return to the Missing tab.
    • Marked: If you manually mark a clause in the Clause Library, the clause will display under the Marked tab.

  3. Click the filter icon to expose drop-down menus that can help you to refine your search. Options include All Fields, Modified Fields, and Marked for Delete.
  4. Click the pencil icon beside the name of each extraction and click Custom Input if you need to manually correct the extracted information.

To review Doc Clauses

  1. Click on the Doc Clauses tab. If you do not see Doc Clauses under the Work tab, click the More button from the menu.
  2. Extracted clauses are listed under the Found and Missing tabs. These are based on the provisions you have selected. For more information on provisions and setting up extractions, see Provisions and Setting Up Data Extraction. Click on the name of each extracted clause to view where it is located in your document. You can also search by Clause Name.
    • Found: These are clauses that have been successfully identified and marked in the document based on the provisions found. In this tab, you have the options to Re-Mark, Unmark, or Delete a clause.

    • Missing: These are clauses that have not been marked in the document based on the provisions found. To mark this text in the document, highlight the associated text in the document, then under the Missing tab, click the More icon next to the associated extraction and select Mark Clause. The marked clause will then display under the Found tab. If you unmark the clause, it will return to the Missing tab.

    • Marked: If you manually mark a field in the Clause Library, the field will display under the Marked tab.

    Note: Extracted clauses in the Review Import Results tab are displayed as marked clauses in the Doc Clauses > Found section even if they are not linked to the Clause Library. Administrators and implementation teams can provide the required field values for each marked clause and the clause details are stored upon document check-in without Clause Library association. AI Comparison is not available for these clauses.
  3. Click the filter icon to expose drop-down menus that can help you to refine your search. Options include All Clauses, Modified Clauses, and Marked for Delete.
