Approvals Integration with Microsoft Teams
The Conga app for Microsoft Teams lets you manage and act on approval requests directly inside Microsoft Teams without switching between applications.
When an approval request is triggered from a source application such as CPQ or CLM, the system sends a notification to Microsoft Teams. You receive the request as an interactive card in a personal chat, where you can review details and take action. Responses are processed immediately, and the approval status updates in real time in the source application.
As an administrator, you set up and enable this integration so that users can access and use approvals within Microsoft Teams. This includes downloading and uploading the Conga Approvals app. It also ensures the environment is ready for users to link their accounts and start using the feature.

Intended Audience
This document is intended for the following users:
- Conga Administrator: Manages the Approvals app setup and ensures approval workflows are configured in source applications.
- Microsoft Teams IT Administrator: Installs and manages the Conga app within Microsoft Teams and configures app availability for users.

Uploading a Conga Application in Microsoft Teams
The Approvals package (.zip file) is available on your system. Contact your Conga support representative to obtain the latest application package file.
The Chat Notification Type is enabled in the Approvals System Property to receive notifications in Microsoft Teams.
- Go to .
- Click Actions, then select .
- Click Upload.
- Browse to the location where you saved the Approvals package (zip file).
- Select the package file and click Open. The file uploads successfully.
- Click Add.
- Manage app availability for users in your organization. By default, no users have access to the app after upload. Change the availability to Everyone or Specific users or groups. For more information, see Use app centric management to manage access to apps.
