Unapply Payment Email Templates

You need to create an unappply payment email template and apply it to the account or account location.

Creating an Unapply Payment Email Template

  1. Go to Setup and type email in the quick find box. Alternately, open Email Templates under Communication Templates.
  2. Select Conga Unapply Payment Email Templates as the Folder.
    Note:

    The folder names in the new orgs are auto-updated to Conga Unapply Payment Email Templates after installing the latest Billing managed package. For existing orgs, the Admin has to manually update the folder label to Conga Unapply Payment Email Templates by clicking Edit next to Folder.



  3. Click New Template and select a template type from the list of options.
    1. Select Text to use merge fields to personalize your email content.
    2. Select HTML to use Salesforce's pre-defined Email layout options to create your own HTML template.
    3. Select Custom to create your own HTML layout from scratch.
    4. Select VisualForce to use Visualforce for creating email templates.Developers and administrators can use this option to perform advance operations on data that will be sent to recipients.


  4. Enter the template information such as Folder, Email Template Name, Email Layout , Subject, and Description.
    Note:

    You must select Available For Use option to make the template visible and available for selection.

  5. Using the Merge Field Options, you can add dynamic fields to your email body. As shown in the following screen, on selecting the Name field from the Select Field picklist, you get a Copy Merge Field Value '{!Contact.Name}'.


  6. Paste this value in the Email body to display the contact name in the email. Enter the Subject and click Save.

The templates you create will be added to the Conga Unapply Payment Email Templates folder.

You can add multiple templates for unapply payment and specify one for applicability at the Account or Account Location level. Precedence is given to the template added at the Account Location level.

Adding Email Template to an Account

You can add the default email template or any other created email template to the Accounts object. To add an email template:
  1. Click the App Launcher and search for and click Accounts. The Accounts page opens showing a list of accounts.
  2. Click the desired Account under the Account Name from the list.
  3. Click Details tab.
  4. Under Set Email Template, click the Pencil icon for Unapply Payment Email Template.
  5. Paste or enter the template name and click Save.
The template is added to the Accounts object and will be used to present the information through an email for unapply payment transactions.

Adding Email Template to Account Locations

You can add the default email template or any other created email template to the Account Locations object. To add an email template:
  1. Click the App Launcher and search for and click Account Locations. The Account Locations page opens showing a list of location names. Alternatively, open the Accounts page, click Related and then click Account Locations.
  2. Click the desired location under the Location Name from the list.
  3. Click Details tab.
  4. Click the Pencil icon for Unapply Payment Email Template.
  5. Paste or enter the template name and click Save.
The template is added to the Account Locations object and will be used to present the information through an email for unapply payment transactions.
