Contracts for Salesforce integrates with your Salesforce Org using the login credentials of a user of your choice.

The user must have the proper permissions to run as an integration user. The required permissions are:

  • API Enabled
  • View Setup and Configuration
  • Customize Application
  • Modify All Data
  • Conga CLM permission set from Contracts for Salesforce managed package

The integration user full name will be displayed in the Contracts for Salesforce Activity panel as the user making any automated updates to a contract agreement. It is recommended to connect with an integration user who has a generic display name like “Systems Process”, “Conga Admin”, or “Integration User”.

Complete OAuth Connection

  1. Log in as the selected integration user
  2. Go to the Conga CLM Setup tab in Salesforce
  3. Click Connect in the left-hand panel
  4. Click Connect in the Connect with OAuth section
  5. Accept the OAuth authorization prompt

Once you return to the Conga CLM Setup page, you should see the Status change from Not Connected to Connected. If Contracts for Salesforce features ever stop working, you can reconnect to troubleshoot. You can also reconnect to change the integration user.

If the Connect or Reconnect option is not available, your current user does not have the required permissions to use Contracts for Salesforce.
