Prerequisites

  1. Install and set up Slack for Salesforce in your Org
  2. Install the Contracts for Salesforce Slack Integration package located here. 
  3. Configure your Contracts for Salesforce Slack Integration

Create a Slack Channel

  1. Navigate to a Contract Agreement and click Create Slack Channel in the upper right menu. If this button is not available, you must first complete the prerequisites listed above. 
  2. In the popup window, enter a name for the Slack channel. 
  3. Click Next
  4. A new channel is created in Slack with the collaborators associated with the contract agreement. The channel tracks the status of the contract agreement and when a new content version is added.
