You can configure email notifications for your approvers and reviewers using Contract for Salesforce's Office 365 integration. These notifications use email templates that you can configure to include your company logo and a customized message. The steps below include an example notification email to let reviewers know a document is available for review, but you can use the same steps to create templates for cancellation and end review notifications. 

To set up custom email templates for the Office 365 integration:

  1. In Salesforce Classic, click the + icon from the navigation menu 
  2. Click Documents
  3. Click New
  4. Upload an image file of your company logo
  5. From Salesforce Quick Find, search for "letterhead"
  6. Click on Classic Letterheads
  7. Click Next
  8. Click New Letterhead
  9. Click Edit Letterhead > Select Logo to add a logo
  10. Click Edit Properties and check Available for Use. This must also be checked on the email template. 
  11. From Salesforce Quick Find, search for "email" and click Classic Email Templates
  12. Click New Template
  13. Name the template "Office 365 Notify Approver"
  14. Under the Classic Letterhead dropdown, select the name of the Letterhead you created
  15. Click Edit HTML Version
  16. Enter your email template message. We recommend the following message, which is also the default message if not configured otherwise: 

    Please review the document in Office 365. Use the following link to access the document {{Document Link}}

  17. Repeat the process for an "Office 365 Notify Reviewer” template
  18. From the Salesforce App Launcher, go to Conga Contracts 
  19. Go to Conga Contracts Setup
  20. Go to Office 365 Setup, go to the General section
  21. Click the Edit button
  22. Under the Email Template Folder, select the folder containing your new templates
  23. Under Notify Approver Template, select the “Office 365 Notify Approver” template 
  24. Under Notify Reviewer Template, select the “Office 365 Notify Reviewer” template 
  25. Click the Submit button
