Creating an Email Template for the Office 365 Integration
You can configure email notifications for your approvers and reviewers using Contract for Salesforce's Office 365 integration. These notifications use email templates that you can configure to include your company logo and a customized message. The steps below include an example notification email to let reviewers know a document is available for review, but you can use the same steps to create templates for cancellation and end review notifications.
To set up custom email templates for the Office 365 integration:
In Salesforce Classic, click the + icon from the navigation menu
Click Documents
Click New
Upload an image file of your company logo
From Salesforce Quick Find, search for "letterhead"
Click on Classic Letterheads
Click Next
Click New Letterhead
Click Edit Letterhead > Select Logo to add a logo
Click Edit Properties and check Available for Use. This must also be checked on the email template.
From Salesforce Quick Find, search for "email" and click Classic Email Templates
Click New Template
Name the template "Office 365 Notify Approver"
Under the Classic Letterhead dropdown, select the name of the Letterhead you created
Click Edit HTML Version
Enter your email template message. We recommend the following message, which is also the default message if not configured otherwise:
Please review the document in Office 365. Use the following link to access the document {{Document_Link}}
Repeat the process for an "Office 365 Notify Reviewer” template
