How do I merge data and send a document for negotiation with Conga Composer?
You can generate a contract with Composer and use Composer to automatically email the document for negotiation through Contracts for Salesforce when the merge is complete.
You are still able to click the Composer button to merge and save a document and then click Send for Negotiation to email that same file for negotiation.
As you generate a contract with Composer and send for negotiation, Composer creates an email preview with an attachment that you can edit and send to recipients. After you generate a contract with Composer and send the document for negotiation, you can use your Composer HTML Email Templates to populate the subject and body of the email being sent for negotiation.
How do I automate creating a contract with Composer and then send that contract for negotiation through Contracts for Salesforce?
You must add the DS7=111 or DS7=112 parameters to your Composer solution to generate a contract. Composer HTML Email Templates are available for use in Contracts as Send for Negotiation emails.

After you click the Composer button, Composer merges a contract document and saves the document to Salesforce. The document is saved to the Salesforce Files related list and also attaches the document to an email message. You can preview the email or automatically sent it.
