Creating a Legal Entity

CRUD permissions on the Legal Entity page is governed by property‑based access control and RBAC.

Click New Legal Entity from the Legal Entities list page.

Note:
An administrator can click the Edit Page button in the page header to customize the page layout of the Legal Entity details page in CX Studio. This allows them to add or remove standard and custom fields. For more information about editing page layouts, see Page Layout Configuration in CX Studio.
Fill in the relevant fields on the Legal Entity Details page. Name is a required field and must be filled in before saving.
Note: To make the legal entity available for selection during supplier and contract creation, slide the Active toggle.
Click Save to save the record or click Cancel to discard changes.

CRUD permissions on the Legal Entity page is governed by property‑based access control and RBAC.

hen you save, the system creates a new legal entity and places it at the top of the Legal Entities list page.
