Salesforce Embedded Experience in Conga CLM

Access Conga CLM features and manage contracts directly within Salesforce Lightning, using the embedded Advantage Platform interface without switching between systems.

Note: This guide applies to customers using Conga CLM on the Advantage Platform with Salesforce. Ensure your administrator has completed the integration setup described in the Salesforce Integration with Conga CLM administrator guide before following the procedures in this guide.
Salesforce integrates Conga Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) directly into the Salesforce Lightning interface, allowing you to manage contracts and contract requests without leaving your CRM environment. Instead of switching between systems, you can access the full Conga Advantage Platform UI embedded within Salesforce pages via iFrame, with all contract data residing exclusively on the Advantage Platform.

This solution is designed for net-new customers purchasing Conga CLM on the Advantage Platform and is separate from Conga's existing native Salesforce CLM product (Comply Managed Package).

The integration embeds the Advantage Platform interface within Salesforce Lightning pages at two levels:

  • App-level access : A unified Conga CLM app in the Salesforce top navigation bar provides centralized access to key CLM features: All Contracts, All Contract Requests, Conga Approvals, Obligation Fulfillments, Contract Search, and Contract Dashboard.
  • Record-level access : A Conga Contracts tab appears on Account and Opportunity record pages. When you open this tab, the system automatically checks whether the Salesforce Account or Opportunity already exists on the Advantage Platform. If not, a corresponding record is created through Workato middleware, and the embedded UI then displays all contracts and contract requests associated with that record.
    Note: Contracts and contract requests created from Account and Opportunity records are also visible in the Conga CLM tab features; All Contracts and All Contract Requests displays the complete list across all records.
