Searching Conversations
- You have access to the records (contract, contract request, supplier request, supplier, or account record) with permission to view conversations.
- At least one conversation or message exists for the context record.
You can search across all conversations (search field on the left side) or within a specific conversation (search field on the right side). You can search using:
- Keywords or phrases in the conversation subject
- Keywords or phrases in message content (including posts and replies)
- Participant names (full or partial match)
- Attachment filenames (when the Search in Attachments checkbox is enabled)
Search results include content from both posts and replies.
Contract and its amendments: When you open the Conversations page for a contract that has related amendments, the left-side search now runs across conversations from the original contract and all related amendments. Search results from this unified view include a version or contract number indicator (for example, CON40581, CON40581.1, CON40581.2) so you can see which version each thread belongs to.
Limitation: Search includes attachment filenames only when the attachment search option is enabled. The system does not currently search the content inside attachments.
