Conversations
Conversations allow users to communicate directly within a contract record, keeping all discussions, decisions, and supporting documents in one central location. Instead of relying on scattered emails, calls, or separate tools, conversations provide a structured space for real-time, contextual communication between internal teams, such as Contract Managers, Legal, Compliance, and external participants like auditors or partners.
A conversation groups all messages related to a single post on a contract. Each conversation contains:
- The original post
- All replies to that post (from the application or email)
- All attachments shared in the post and replies
Conversations are:
- Linked to a single object record, such as a Contract
- Accessible from the contract's Conversation page
- Used to track communication history in one place
The response count on the left panel reflects only replies, not the original post.
