New Features and Enhancements

The following features are new to Conga CLM in this release.

Feature Flag to Enable Conga Copilot

Users must send a request to the DevOps team to set the feature flag to true to enable Conga Copilot on the user interface. Conga Copilot allows users to ask questions about a contract document or generate a contract document summary. By default, the feature flag is set to false.

Contract Document Summary through Conga Copilot

Using the Conga Copilot, users can generate a summary of a contract document. For more information, see Generating Summary of a Contract Document.

Integrating Summary API for Conga Copilot

Summary API is now integrated with the Copilot API.

POST /api/clm/v1/contracts/ {\contractId}/copilot/{\documentId}/summarize.

For more information, see Copilot API

Editable Contract Number for Contract Request Form Setting

Administrators can enable the “Editable Contract Number for Contract Request Form” setting to allow you to edit the contract number when creating a contract request form. For more information, see General Settings.

When this setting is turned on, you can edit the contract number when creating a contract request. For more information, see Creating a Contract Request.

Contract Type-based Page Layout Configuration

Administrators can configure contract creation page layouts based on the contract type through the Admin Console or the CX Studio. When the user selects the contract type for contract creation, the subsequent fields on the page are displayed according to the page layout configuration done for the selected contract type. This applies to contract creation through the Fill out a contract form option and the Import a document (both Import and Store executed document options). For more information see, Creating a Contract.

New Callback Methods Introduced

The following callback methods are introduced:

  • BeforeCreateAsync()
  • BeforeUpdateAsync()
  • BeforeDeleteAsync()
  • AfterUpdateAsync()
  • AfterDeleteAsync()

For more information see, Customizing CLM Using Callbacks.

View Settings Functionality for Contract Documents Tab

You can control the columns displayed in the grid, freeze/pin a column range, rearrange the column order, and change the column width by resizing the necessary columns, in the Documents tab for contracts. For more details, see Viewing Contract Documents.

Configurable State for Contract Details Page Sections

An administrator can configure View Setting in the Admin Console or edit the page layout to determine which sections on the contract details page, such as Basic Information, Terms & Renewals, etc., should be displayed as expanded or collapsed. Users can override the default setting by expanding or collapsing the required section in the page layout using the Edit Page functionality on the contract details page.

When users initiate any of the following actions on a review cycle, the system displays a message to inform them about the progress of the background process:

This applies to both simple reviews and Microsoft 365 reviews.

Informational Message on Sending Documents for Signature
