You can search for clause records on the clauses list page using the basic search or advanced search.

To search clauses

  1. On the clauses list page, enter a search term in the search box and press Enter.

  2. Click the Advanced Search icon () to apply filters to your search results and display the Advanced Search window.
  3. Click Add Criteria.
    1. Select a field to be used in the filter criteria.
    2. Select an operator from the drop-down. The operator defines the relationship between the field and the value. The list of available operators varies depending on the data type of the chosen field.
    3. Enter the value of the field. The type of value field depends on the field selected.
  4. To add another filter, click Add Criteria and repeat steps 3 (a), 3 (b), and 3 (c).

    • Click the delete icon () next to the search query to remove the search criteria.
    • Click Remove All to remove multiple search criteria.
  5. If you have more than one criterion, then the Filter Expression textbox is displayed with a formula showing the criteria added. By default, the application uses AND logic for all criteria. You can also alter the filter expression. AND and OR operators are supported in the filter expression. For example, 1 AND 2 AND (3 OR 4).
  6. Click Apply.
