Preview and Submit

Users can preview the approval process before submitting the triggering request for approval. With Approvals, a user can:

• Preview approvals before submitting the approval request. 
• Add attachments to the record submitted for approval.  

To preview an approval process

Access the Preview page from a web browser at {{endpoint}}/approvals/preview/?recordId={{contractId}}&sObjectName=Apttus__APTS_Agreement__c.

You must manually enter values in the endpoint and record ID. For example, https://rls-qa.congacloud.io/approvals/my-approvals/?recordId=d5b05ca6-0c65-4b34-b555-76612f2b3faa&sObjectName=Apttus__APTS_Agreement__c

You can view the following tabs:

• Preview: You can preview the approval process.
• Attachments: You can drag and drop files or upload them from your file system by clicking the Browse Files link. The files are listed in the Existing Documents section

To submit an approval request

1. Click Submit to submit the approval request and raise the Approval Notes window.
2. Enter the description in the Approval Notes window.
3. Click Submit.
