To create a custom locale, you need to first add a custom locale name and then add relevant locale code for the locale name. You can then set up custom locales to create localized templates or contracts in X-Author Contracts. You can select the number precision and currency precision according to your requirement, but the date format and number format are displayed based on the Locale Code.

Prerequisite

  • Ensure to format the Locale Names and Locale Codes correctly as there is no system validation on these values.

  • You cannot create duplicate locales or create locales with the standard Locale Names which come available with the Contract Management application (refer to Standard Locale Names and Locale Codes).

  • You must provide the Locale Code in <ISO Language code>-<ISO Country code> format. The locale code is not case sensitive.
