This section provides you with information about how to map provisions to the project-record type in Lightning.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that you create project-record type mappings only in Lightning.
  • Ensure that the clause and field type IDE provisions are created.

  • Ensure that record types are available in Contract Management.

Restriction

You must not create project-record type mappings in Classic.

To add a project

This displays the IDE Map Project Record Types page.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter the Project Name and Record Type Name.
The Clauses tab is highlighted by default.
  4. (Optional) Enter the Project ID if you have already created a project in Kira or Conga AI.
If you leave the Project ID field blank, CLM creates a project in Kira or Conga AI, obtains the Project ID, and populates the Project ID field.

This displays the Add Provision Clauses popup that contains a list of clause type provisions and also the provisions which are neither clause nor field type provisions.
  6. Use the search box to search for a particular clause or select multiple clauses and click Add.

If the value of the Template Reference field is blank, you need to enter the appropriate value before saving the clause provision or you will encounter an error.

  7. Scroll to the end of the page and click Save.
  8. Select the Fields tab.

If you do not select the Sync IDE Provision checkbox before saving the mapping, the changes to the provisions are not updated in the default provision mapping.
