QVar doesn't work with SelectTemplates. 

The QVar0Id parameter will not function when using SelectTemplates to populate the template id value(s). 

Google Drive connection issue

New Google Drive connections fail to connect in the Composer Setup menu. On some occasions, existing Google Drive connections will fail. 

March 2nd-13th 2024 Composer Usage Data

Composer usage data between March 2nd-March 13th, 2024, was impacted. Conga has restored as much of the Composer usage data as possible. All Composer customer usage between March 2nd-March 13th will reflect an "IsComposer" event type and User Type = Salesforce:SFDC in the activity report. Template name, master object, and contact fields will be blank. In a few cases, some customer usage data was unable to be restored. No Composer usage will show up between March 2nd-13th for those impacted customers.

Local Template issue with Lightning Component

Local Template cannot be used to merge and generate the document using Lightning Component.

Workaround: Use the OAuth button to use the local template for document generation.

Activity Logging issue with Lightning Component

When using the lightning component, manually selecting the activity logging option in the Composer Merge screen does not log an activity. This is true for both Composer and Conga Quote Generation.

Workarounds (only for Conga Composer):

  • Use Activity Logging parameters within the Lightning Component solution.
  • Use the Classic OAuth UI to manually add activity logging.

Adobe Sign integration issue with Community User

When a Community user uses the Composer solution with Adobe Sign integration, the solution redirects to the internal Salesforce URL when the ReturnPath parameter is not used and returns an Invalid Page error when the ReturnPath parameter is used.

Master Field to Set 1 field on Composer Template records Cannot Be Updated/Deleted

When updating or deleting the value in the the Master Field to Set 1 field on the Conga Template Record, it is a common issue that whatever value was put in the field will persist despite any changes. 

Workaround: Use the MFTS parameters rather than the Master Field to Set fields. 

Service User issue with EU Region

The Service User feature is not available to users in the EU Region.

Scanned PDF Documents Causes an Intermittent Timeout Failure

When using a scanned PDF is saved as a template, Composer may encounter a Timeout Error. 

Composer/Batch Box Integrations Allow Users to Sign In

Composer and Batch integrations with Box allow users to input their own Box accounts rather than the Administrator-designated Box account.   

Conga Composer Solutions "Customize Parameters" Not Functioning

The Customize Parameters button in the Composer Solution creator fails when using the Search function and then redirects back to the Conga Composer Solution. While you cannot use the Search function for Parameters, you can still add the parameter from this UI. 

Composer/Trigger Email Templates Don't Appear in Activity History

When sending an email via Composer or Trigger, the email template appears under Activity History with an attachment symbol but does not have the expected attachment. 
Workaround: Adding a BCC pointing to an internal email address will successfully add the attachment.
