Repeating Data in Word - TableStart and TableEnd
Use TableStart and TableEnd (TS/TE) in Composer to merge any data from queries you’ve added to your solution. Anything placed between the TS/TE tags, including tables, graphics, text, and merge fields, is automatically repeated for each row of data in the corresponding dataset. TS/TE can be placed anywhere in the document and can be used outside of a table.
Syntax
{{TableStart:Dataset}}{{TableEnd:Dataset}}
Values
Datasetis the alias you gave the query when you added it to your Composer solution. This name will also be displayed in Template Builder
Notes
Use the same alias in a pair of TS/TE tags. Mismatched aliases will cause the merge to error out.
TS/TE tags can be nested:
Insert a blank line before TableEnd to display the next record on a new line.
Insert a page break before TableEnd to display the next record on a new page.
If you place a TableStart or TableEnd on a line by itself, it will leave some blank space on the merged document. You can minimize the amount of vertical white space that gets left by reducing the font size.
(Optional) Use red text for TS/TE so that they stand out and are easy to recognize. Text color does not change output functionality.
