Once you have created a solution, you can test it using a sample record to make sure it works properly before adding it to a page layout.

To test a solution:

  1. Click Select Sample Record.
  2. Click the record you want to use as the sample record for testing. This will auto-populate the Sample Record ID field.
  3. Click Submit & Return to Solution Record. This will add the sample record to your solution and allow you to test your solution against this record. The Launch button is now enabled in the Button Syntax & Test Launcher area.
  4. Click Launch to launch Conga Composer.

You can now run a merge, check your settings, open the Template Builder, and access any other parts of Composer necessary to adequately test your solution.
