The CI portal sends email notifications to appropriate users on the following events.

  • Actions: Ownership assignment, folder sharing, or watchlist item addition
  • Smart events: Contract renewal and termination

Default Notifications

All CCI email notifications are enabled by default. You can opt out of or into the following notifications:

  • Someone has assigned you ownership of a document.
  • Weekly upcoming smart events (this email reminds you to check the portal and is produced only if you have access to at least one document with an upcoming smart event)
  • Upcoming smart event for the document owner. These are every 30, 60, and 90 days by default. You can also add 180 days.
  • Default reminders for events on your watchlist. These are every 30, 60, and 90 days by default. You can also add 180 days.

Non-Discretionary Notifications

You cannot opt out of the following CCI email notifications:

  • A user shares a folder with you
  • An administrator adds you to a group
  • You become an administrator
