Navigate to the Clause Types tab. You can navigate to this tab from within the Clause Library, or from the Select Clause Types screen from an Agreement.
Click the name of the Clause Type from the Clause Types list on the left.
Click on the Details tab to view Clause Types Details.
Click the Inactive checkbox to make a Clause Type inactive. A yellow warning message displays confirming that the clause is inactive.
Note: The inactive checkbox is also available when you are creating a new Clause Type.
Once a Clause Type is inactive, it is still viewable in the Clause Library. Side navigation will also display an inactive icon for all inactive records. Unchecking the inactive checkbox will make the Clause Type active again. You can still run reports and queries on inactive Clause Types. If you try to deactivate a clause type that has at least one active clause, an error message appears.
