A user with the List Admin permission can temporarily disable an item selection in the hierarchy in the Contract Type list in the Contract Profile screen if it will be needed again in the future, or permanently delete it if it is no longer relevant or applicable.

A contract type can only be deleted if it is not being used by a Contract Profile. Deleting a contract type will also delete all its sub-types.

  1. Click the Gear Icon in the Navigation Toolbar, and click the Lists link in the menu.
  2. In the List Administration screen, enter contract in the Search field and press the ENTER key on your keyboard.
  3. When the alphabetized results display in the Fields List section, locate the Contract (7 Items) category.
  4. In the Contract category, click theContract Typelist to display the existing types in right side of the screen.

    Tip:

     If the list of contract types is lengthy, click Excel in the toolbar to generate a spreadsheet showing the existing types.

  5. Disable a contract type by clicking its Disabled check box.
  6. Disable a contract sub-type by clicking the the expand icon for a contract type to display its sub-types. Click the sub-type's Disabled check box to hide the sub-type in the Contract Type list in the Contract Profile screen.
  7. Delete a contract type:
    • Right-click the folder icon for a contract type to display an Add/Delete menu, and select Delete.
    • Click Yes in the Delete Contract Type confirmation prompt.
  8. Delete a contract sub-type:
    • Click the expand icon for a contract type to display its sub-types.
    • Right-click the  icon for a sub-type to display an Add/Delete menu, and select Delete.
    • Click Yes in the Delete Contract Type confirmation prompt.
  9. Click Save.
