Benefit

A tab on the Promotions page that is configured to define the profit that is provided to the customer.

Criteria

A tab in the Promotions page that is defined before the promotion is ready to be made available to customers. If a sales representative wants to apply this promotion to a customer's purchase, the criteria that are defined here will determine if that purchase qualifies for the promotion

Coupons

A tab on the Promotions page that is used to track how customers use incentives, how incentive manager can optimize promotions, and how sales personnel can re-target customers. You can generate multiple coupon codes to share the range with your marketing team.

Data Rollup

Converts different categories of historical purchase information into variables. The user can use a data roll-up to generate a result that aggregates a hierarchy of values for one or more parameters.

Incentive Group

Promotions are categorized together as Incentive Groups. Incentive Groups are used to analyze, report, and measure promotions.

LimitsA tab in the Promotions page that is configured to determine the number of times you customer can apply a promotion for different types of the transactions.

Price Dimension

A price dimension for a promotion is the definition of the scope of the promotion. The definition of the scope might include or exclude fields such as Region, Country, account, and Account Type that impact the pricing of the purchase. An incentive manager defines a Price Dimension of one or more of these fields is included as a parameter to define the scope of your promotion.

Promotion

A promotion is a marketing technique that you apply to reduce the list price of a product or a service. You can create such promotion and restrict the scope, limit, and benefits so your sales representatives apply this promotion to specific products, for specific customers, and for a limited period.

Rebate

A Rebate is an incentive that your customers receive after buying the promoted product. Mail-in rebates are the most common type of rebate where you send out a check to your customers for the decided amount. In this case, there is no reduction in the list price of the product or service that you promote.

Scope

A tab in the Promotions page that is configured to determine the types of accounts, the regions, and the products that the promotion is available.
