Managing Assets on New UI

When you launch Assets 360 page from the New CPQ UI, a list of assets is displayed. You can view information such as the asset name, product name, quantity, asset status, net price sold to etc listed in a tabular format. The columns displayed on this page is based on the Visible Column settings.

You can view the total number of assets, total number of accounts associated with the assets, and the total Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) on top of the table.

In the table, all assets are displayed along with their primary lines. To enhance navigation, an expand/collapse icon is available on the primary line of each asset. For bundle structures that include sub-bundles and options, the expand/collapse functionality is provided only on the primary line of the bundle. When expanded, the entire bundle structure is revealed, including sub-bundles and options. However, sub-bundles do not automatically expand; you must manually click to expand them if needed. By default, all assets are displayed in a collapsed state.

You can perform the following operations on this page:
  • Toggle between list and grid view.
  • Manage the views and create custom views.
  • Use the search and filter feature to narrow down the list.
  • Navigate to asset details page and account details page.
For custom views on this page, the following sorting behaviour is implemented:
  • When creating or editing a view, the columns selected in the Choose Columns tab now appear in the same order within the Sort By dropdown.
  • The column selected in Sort By becomes the active sort column for that view, and you can set the Sort Order (Ascending or Descending).
  • When a Custom View is reloaded, assets are automatically displayed according to the view's saved Sort Column and Sort Order.
  • When switching between multiple Custom Views, each view retains and applies its own saved sorting preferences.
  • The System Default View continues to sort assets by Created Date (Descending).
