Share Quote with Buyer and Partner

Sharing a Quote with a Partner

  • The quote must be in Generated or Presented stage.
  • Storefront is configured.
  • Account details, bill to, and ship to is present in the quote.
  • Cart must be finalized.

You can build a quote and share with the partner to help finalize the configuration and pricing.

While sharing, there is only one supported option for authentication type, which is 'Authenticated with Login'. The following access types are supported.
  • No Edit Access - Can Review, Comment, Accept / Reject
  • Restricted Edit Access - Can Review, Update Qty/Term, Comment, Accept / Reject
  • Full Edit Access - Add, Remove Items, Comment, Accept / Reject
  1. Open the required Quote.
  2. Click Next Steps > Share with Buyer.
  3. 'Authenticated with Login' is the default selection for Authentication Type which cannot be modified.
  4. Select the required access type from the drop-down list.
  5. The From field has default selection. The quote owner email ID is displayed.
  6. Enter the recipient's email address.
  7. The email subject is auto generated and includes account details. Modify as required.
  8. Proceed with the pre-selected email template, or select a different template, or select Write Custom Message to disregard the predefined template and compose a personalized message.
    The predefined templates are non-editable. In the customized message panel, the URL to the storefront is auto populated and you can write a custom message around the URL.
  9. Review the message in the Preview Message window, click Send.
An email with a link to the Storefront is sent to the partner, where the partner can review the quote and provide the appropriate response.
