76 Cannot Configure a Quote

Error

The following error is displayed when you configure a quote:

Invalid conversion from runtime type Boolean to StringError is in expression '{!initCart}' in component <apex:page> in page apttus_config2:cart: (Apttus_Config2)
An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (Apttus_Config2)

Cause

This happens when Search Filters (CPQ) are not configured properly.

What to do

Perform the following steps to resolve the error:

  1. Go to All Tabs > Search Filters (CPQ).
  2. On the View drop-down, select All and click Go.
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Delete the unwanted or all search filters.
    • Update the required filters.
    • Clear the Active checkbox for the unwanted or all search filters.
