79 Cannot Configure a Quote

Error

The following error is displayed when you configure a quote:

Invalid conversion from runtime type Apttus_QPConfig.ProposalConfigureProductsCallback to Apttus_Config2.CustomClass.IConfigureProductsCallback2

Cause

This happens when latest CPQ and dependent packages are not installed.

What to do

Install all the latest CPQ and dependent packages.
