Coupons are generally alphanumeric codes that correspond to a promotion. With Conga Promotions, you can now create multiple coupon codes for potential customers to promote your business and specific products in your inventory.

After you identify potential end customers in a target market, you can use coupons to track how customers use incentives, how you can optimize your promotions, and how you can re-target your customers. You can generate multiple coupon codes to share the range with your marketing team. 

To create coupons for this promotion, set Auto Apply? to Off on the Information page. 

Viewing Coupons

You can view all coupons in Card and List view.

View Type

Description

Card View

Card view displays Coupon details in individual card format. It is a default view on UI. A card shows all the details of the existing coupon.

  • Click Card view icon () to view coupon in card format.
  • Click the ellipsis () icon to edit or delete the coupon.
  • Use Active toggle button to enable/disable the coupon.
List View

List view displays coupon in a list. It is a default view on UI. Click List view icon () to view coupon in a list.

For this view, refer the following sections:

  • Click the ellipsis () icon to edit or delete the coupon.
  • Edit any field for the coupon.
  • Mass Action is enabled.

To create a new coupon

  1. On the coupons page, click Create Coupon to raise a Coupon Quantity pop-up.
  2. Enter the number of coupons you want to create and click Create. The system generates coupons based on the number you entered.

  3. Enter values for the fields described in the following table:

    These fields act as filter criteria as well. For example, the coupon-assigned account or Incentive user needs to match the account field value specified on the quote or the logged-in user respectively. If the Account field value on the quote is missing, the coupon assigned to the account needs to match the account linked to the opportunity.

    Start DateThe start date for the coupon.
    End DateThe last date this coupon is valid.
    LimitThe number of times you can use this coupon.
    Price DimensionSelect any type of price dimension associated with user or an account.
    Assigned To

    Select the object to which the coupon is assigned to. The values will be shown according to the value selected for price dimension. 

    ActiveSelect the checkbox to activate the coupon.
  4. Click Save to save the changes or click Save & Continue to move to the next tab.


Mass Actions: Delete, Edit, and Export

The mass action feature allows you to export, edit, or delete the selected coupons in one instance.

  • Click the checkbox beside Coupon Code column. You can select one coupon, multiple coupons, or all the coupons.
  • Click the () icon to export the selected coupon as CSV or Excel file format.
  • Click the edit () icon to edit the Start Date, End Date, Price Dimension, or Limit of the selected coupons. You can also make them active or inactive.
    • An Edit (number of coupons selected) Coupons pop-up will appear.
    • Make necessary changes and click Save. 
    • A Delete Coupons pop-up will appear. Click the delete () icon to delete the selected coupons.
    • Click Confirm.
