New Features and Enhancements

The following features are new to Conga CPQ in this release.

Exporting Records

You can now select and export multiple records from listed grids in CSV or Excel format by enabling checkboxes for row item selection.

For more information, see Exporting Records.

Ability to Create Flows and Associate with Proposal

Revenue administrators can create flows for different types of quotes based on your business requirements or type of quote. Once the flow is created, you can associate that with your proposal to complete the quote life cycle. This enables the sales representatives to go through the entire quote life cycle, including creating a quote, cart, pricing, ABO, proposal generation, approval, review, and sign-off.

When Sales representatives create a proposal, the System flow is selected. Sales representatives can select the required flow name from the Flow dropdown while creating a proposal. You can also update the flow after creating the proposal by clicking the Edit link on the proposal detail page. Based on the business requirements, you can create new flows as required and associate that with your proposal to complete the quote life cycle.

To achieve this, a new field called "Flow" is introduced on the quote header. This "Flow" field allows users to select a flow when creating a quote header. If needed, the "Flow" field can be hidden. Revenue administrators can create workflow rules to set a default flow name when a quote header record is created.

For more information, see Configuring the Flows and Creating Quotes.

Manage Installed Product Settings for Asset Restore Fields

You can manage asset settings from global settings, enabling setup for Cart and Installed Products pages. Asset fields will be restored from the original asset upon re-selection of an option during an asset operation. The renewed Start Date and renewed End Date will be restored during renew operation.

For more information, see Asset Settings.

Renewal Settings for Assets under Global Settings

System administrators can manage asset settings from global settings to set up the Cart and Installed Products pages. You can configure settings like Renewal Business Object Type, Renewal Execution Mode, Renewal Group Fields, and Renewal Lead Time.

Known Issues

The following unresolved issues are known to Conga at the time of this release.

Conga Internal IDDescription
CPQ-85259

When you create an order by invoking accept quote to create order API, the order does not fetch the primary contact, grand total, and amout fields details. Hence, primary contact do not receive the email notifications in the quote to order flow.

CPQ-85150

While configuring the product, attribute values are not matching because attribute value matrices and entries are out of sequence.

CPQ-85086

Bundle product recommendations with matching options takes 6-10 seconds to load.

CPQ-84714

When you access the Action Setting under Flow Setting, the UI fails to render the data despite the API producing it, resulting in an empty Display Action list.

CPQ-84654

Submit for Approval button remains disabled for specific bundle products in carts, even when Auto Approval criteria are met.

CPQ-84143

For some quotes, the number of line items is inconsistent between in-memory data and the ObjectDB in the Production instance.

CPQ-83960

An error message appears from constraint rule, even when the required option is already added by default in the bundle.

Error: Please be sure to select only one Installation charge.

CPQ-79148

The ExpandedByDefault field must be set to True to auto-expand options under an OptionGroup, leading to the need for data adjustments after synchronization.
