You can define the price points to new price waterfall as per the requirements.

To define price points to new price waterfall

When you click Continue from New Price Waterfall screen, the application navigates you to define price points. You can add and define price points to be used in waterfall. The List Price and Base Price are set by default, you can add other custom price points and set one of them as Net Price.

  1. Click the text box in the Price Point Name column and select the Custom Price Point from the list.
  2. Net Price: Define one of the Custom Price Point as Net Price, which will be used for downstream net price calculation. Move the slider to enable the Is net price option.
  3. Click the '+' icon to add more Custom Price Points. To create new price points, see Creating New Price Point.
  4. Click the delete  icon to delete the Custom Price Point.
  5. Click Create.

    • You can set one of the price points as the net price that is used for downstream integration (Billing, ABO, etc.) except list price and base price

    • Setting up one price point as net price is mandatory.

    • By default, Net Price is enabled for the first price point and will allow you to change to any other custom price point,

    • Turning on net price to any other price point will turn off the previously enabled net price.

    • You can adjust the sequence of price points by moving the  icon. However, the net price and base price would be in it's default position.

The application creates a new price waterfall. Once the new price waterfall created, you can access the price point for the desired price waterfall.

  1. Click the desired price waterfall to open it.
  2. Click Price Points tab to view the price points.
  3. Clickicon to define new price points.
  4. Enter the following details:

    Description

    Price Point Name

    Select a price points from the list of price points created in the Waterfall Charts list page. The List Price and Base Price are added by default and cannot not be modified or deleted.

    You can create custom price points on the Waterfall chart list page by clicking Price Points button. You can see the list of price points on the Price points screen. For more information, see Creating New Price Point.

    Net Price

    Enable and set one of the price points as the Net Price which is used for downstream integration (Billing, ABO, etc.). You cannot set the List price and Base Price as the Net Price. By default, Net Price will be enabled for the first price point. You can change it to any other custom price point. 

    Turning ON the net price to any other price point should turn OFF the previously enabled because we can have only one net price enabled price point.

    Display Name

    Use the "Display Name" feature to create a custom label for the price point, which will appear on the waterfall chart to represent the price point. By default, the display name matches the name of the price point.

    You can edit the display name by clicking on it. To edit the display name, follow the steps below:

    a. Select the display name and enter the desired new display name.

    b. Click Save.

  5. Click the deleteicon to remove a price point.
  6. Click Save.

You can adjust the sequences of price points by moving the  icon. However, the net price and base price would be in it's default position.
