You can associate more than one dimension set with a dimension.

To associate a dimension with a dimension set

  1. Go to ADMIN SETUP > Pricing Administration > Deal Guidance > Dimension & Sets. The Dimension page is displayed.
  2. Click the Dimension Sets tab.
  3. Search for the dimension set to update.
  4. Click the dimension set name link to open the Dimension Set details page.
  5. Click the Associated Dimensions tab.
  6. Under Available Dimensions, you can see all dimensions available in the org.
  7. In the Search Dimension field, enter keywords to search the dimension you want to associate with the dimension set and click the search icon  or press Enter.

  8. Hover the mouse on the required dimension and click + next to the dimension name. The dimension is associated with the dimension set and is displayed in the Associated Dimensions section (right-hand side).

  9. Create a Dimension:

    • If the desired dimension does not exist, click Create New Dimension under the Available Dimension page.
    • The New Dimension page will be displayed.
    • Follow the steps in Creating a Dimension to configure the new dimension.
    • After configuring and saving the new dimension, return to the Associated Dimensions page.
    • Search for the newly created dimension as described in step 7 and associate it with the dimension set.
  10. Click Save. 

    The Save button is enabled only when you make any changes to the associated dimensions.

  11. To discard changes:
    1. Click Discard Changes. The Alert pop-up is displayed.
    2. Click Don't Save.
