You can create a visibility rule as per the requirement.

To create a visibility rule

  1. Go to ADMIN SETUP> Product Administration > Visibility Rules.
  2. Click Create New to open a New Visibility Rule pop-up.
  3. Enter the following details:

    Field

    Description
    Rule NameEnter a name for the visibility rule.
    SequenceGive a sequence number to the new visibility rule. It should have a unique value from existing visibility rules.
    DescriptionEnter a description.
  4. Turn the Is Active? setting on to make the rule active.
  5. Click Save to create a visibility rule.

To set a scope for visibility rule

You can set a scope for visibility rule for the business object. 

  1. In the newly created visibility rule, click the Scope tab to add a scope.
  2. Enter the following details:

    Field

    Description
    Business ObjectSelect which object you to apply the filter on. This field controls the values available in the Filter Criteria field.
    Price ListSearch and select the price list.
    UsersSearch and select the users from the list.
    RolesSearch and select the roles from the list.
    Inclusion Criteria

    Inclusion criteria displays fields from an E-commerce Storefront or CPQ Product Configuration (cart) to be used as criteria for the filter to take into consideration.

    Select the fields and expressions you want to use as entry criteria for the filter. You can use a maximum of three fields. If you use multiple fields, the relationship between them is an AND relationship, meaning each expression must evaluate as true.

    Click Criteria to open inclusion criteria pop-up. Fill in the following information to define an inclusion rule.

    1. Object Name
    2. Field
    3. Operator
    4. Value
    5. Turn ON Logic toggle to set the criteria logic.

    Click Add Criteria option to add more criteria. You can click the Delete icon to delete the desired criteria row.

    Click Save to save the inclusion criteria or click Remove All to remove.

    Filter Criteria

    Filter criteria displays fields based on the selected business object. Changing the business object resets the criteria.

    Select the fields and expressions you want to use to control which products will be visible when the Inclusion Criteria is met. You can have a standard AND relationship between the expressions or use Advanced Options to the fields together in a more complex formula.

    Click Criteria to open filter criteria pop-up. Fill in the following information to define an inclusion rule.

    1. Field
    2. Operator
    3. Value

    Click Add Criteria option to add more criteria. You can click the Delete icon to delete the desired criteria row.

    Click Save to save the filter criteria or click Remove All to remove.

  3. Click Save.

When configuring products, only the products and categories that meet the Filter Criteria and Inclusion Criteria will be visible.
