Creating Price Waterfall Charts
To create a price waterfall chart
- Go to ADMIN SETUP > Pricing Administration > Price Waterfall. The Price Waterfall page is displayed.
- Click the required price waterfall name link to open the Price Waterfalls details page.
- Click the Waterfalls Charts tab.
- If there are existing price rules, you can perform the following actions on the list of rules:
- Click Create New Chart. The Create New Waterfall Chart pop-up is displayed. Go to step 4.
- Click the required waterfall chart name link to open the waterfall chart details page.
- Rearrange the sequence of rules using the icon.
- Click the ellipsis icon for the waterfall chart and click Delete.
- If there are no unsaved changes, the Delete Price Rule pop-up is displayed. Click Confirm.
- If there are unsaved changes, the a pop-up is displayed prompting your confirmation. Click Discard Changes. The Delete Price Rule pop-up is displayed. Click Confirm.
- Click the ellipsis icon for the waterfall chart and click Clone.
- By default, the Chart Name will be Clone-The chart name from which you have cloned and the sequence will be 1+ The chart sequence from which you have cloned.
- Click Clone.
- If there are no charts created, click Create New.
- If there are existing price rules, you can perform the following actions on the list of rules:

Enter the name of the waterfall chart. Sequence
Give a number sequence to the new waterfall chart. (Avoid duplicate sequence numbers. While the system doesn't enforce this restriction, if duplicates occur, random priority is assigned within the identical sequences)
Description
Enter a description for the waterfall chart.
If you enter a description to a price waterfall chart, then the info icon associates to the Waterfall Chart's left panel.
Is Active?
Toggle on if the waterfall chart is to be set active.
Click Create.
You can add the criteria using standard criteria model.
- Click Add Criteria. The Chart Criteria pop-up is displayed.
- On the Line Items tab, enter the following details:
- Field: Select a field on the product. You can select custom fields also.
- Operator: Select an operator.
- Value: Enter a value.
- Click Add Criteria to add one more criteria.
- Click the remove icon to remove a criteria.
- Click Remove All to remove all criteria.
- Click Save.
- On the Product Attributes tab, enter the following details:
- Field: Select a field on the product. You can select custom fields also.
- Operator: Select an operator.
- Value: Enter a value.
- Click Add Criteria to add one more criteria.
- Click the remove icon to remove a criteria.
- Click Remove All to remove all criteria.
- Click Save.
- On the User Role tab, enter the following details:
- Field: Select a field on the product. You can select custom fields also.
- Operator: Select an operator.
- Value: Enter a value.
- Click Add Criteria to add one more criteria.
- Click the remove icon to remove a criteria.
- Click Remove All to remove all criteria.
- Click Save.
- Turn the Logic button on and enter a value in the Logic field when you add multiple conditions. When there is more than one condition for a constraint rule, this field defines when to consider one or more of the conditions using AND/OR association. The sequence number defined in the Condition column is used as an identifier of the condition.
Under Manage Price Points section:
The manage price point enables you to set the visibility restriction on price points. It is advised to refrain from eliminating intermediate price points.Price point restriction will have all the price point listed down as defined in the waterfall.
By default, all the price points will be selected and user can deselect the price points which are not required for the respective chart.
The Net Price tag will be defined with the associated price point.
- Under Additional Details:
This section will allow you to select the line item fields which you want to display below waterfall chart as additional detail for the line item and make it editable if you want user to modify on the same page.
