Views are a very powerful, and easy way to create a virtual file cabinet of your proposals. You can create views based on dates, values, products, any data field, or combination of fields and also have specific fields displayed. Views are a customized way to display the exact information you are looking for.
To create views
You can manage column width, control which columns are displayed in the grid, freeze/pin a column range, or rearrange the column order.You can also filter the view of records in the grid by performing a keyword search, filtering the list by column value, or applying one or more advanced filters and filter logic. Goto the page containing the grid view you want to filter.
Customize your view by applying filter criteria:
Filtering Options:Usethe available filtering options to set criteria for your view.This might involve selecting specific fields, setting conditions, and choosing values for those conditions. For more details, seeFiltering Records in the Grid View.
Managing View Settings:Apply the view setting to control whichcolumns to display in the grid view. For more details, seeManaging the View Settings.
Rows per PageandPage Number:Specify the number of records to see per page using theRows per Pageoption. Enter the page number in the designated box to set the default page when applying the view.
Sorting: Apply column sorting for better navigation.
Go to the dropdown menunext to the search bar and clickCreate New View. TheSave Viewpopup appears.
Enter aname and descriptionfor your view.
Youcansave your view as either Private or Public:
Private:Select this to restrictthesearch view to yourself only. It remains private and accessible only to you.
Public:Select this to permit others to access anduseyour search view. Your search view will be made public, allowing others to view andusethe same search criteria.
ClickSaveto save your filtered view.
To access your saved view, click the dropdown menuto the left of the search bar.
Click the More () icon for the viewfrom the list and selectSet as default.
The grid view updates and displays recordsbased on the saved filter criteria.The system retains the applied filter, showing it in the grid viewwhen you return after switching screens.
To edit a saved view
Click the More () icon for the relevantviewfrom the list and selectEdit.
Make the necessary changes.
ClickUpdate.
To delete a saved view
Click the More () icon for the relevantviewfrom the list and selectDelete.
