Feature sets are collections of features that can be associated with a product to define its capabilities or specifications. They are used to organize and manage product features in a structured way, which can be particularly useful for product comparison on the catalog pages. You can define the sequence of features within a feature set. When you create a feature set in the CPQ Admin console, you can add multiple features to it. Each feature you add is assigned a sequence number that is auto-populated. If you need to rearrange the sequence of these features, you can do so by clicking and dragging the rows to the desired order. Once you have arranged the features in the sequence you prefer, you can save the feature set, and this sequence is retained.
When a feature set is created, it must be associated with a product. The association allows for the comparison on the catalog pages.
Feature sets enable the comparison of products by allowing you to see different features side by side. This is particularly useful when products have minor differences that need to be highlighted.
