New Features

The following features are new to Conga CPQ on Conga Platform in this release.

Asset Service Integration Support

  • The ABO platform supports Asset Change (Amend) operations with flat prices, allowing you to modify existing assets regardless of quantity dependency. With customizable settings for Asset Pricing and One-Time Change, you can manage flat-priced assets.
  • The ABO platform now integrates the Change Quantity operation on the Conga platform, enabling you to adjust asset quantities seamlessly. You can increase or decrease asset quantities, facilitating changes to existing assets without affecting the entire asset. This feature supports adjustments on the same asset or the creation of new assets with changed quantities.
  • The ABO platform now supports the restoration of asset values upon re-selection of cancelled option lines during changes on the Conga platform. Through the custom setting "AssetRestoreFields," you can define fields except attributes to retain during re-selection. For example, here fields A1, A2, A3 got values 1,2,3 from the asset. You modifies it to 1,4,8 and then deselect the option and re-select it. The system restores the original asset attribute value 1,2,3 in this case.

  • The ABO platform now supports "Asset Pricing criteria fields" for dynamic pricing adjustments during change and renew operations, enabling you to switch between PLI pricing and asset pricing based on predefined constraints such as line status, ABO action, and criteria fields. For example,

    Use cases

    Values on asset

    Request parameters

    Response

    Change Quantity, selling term, give discount
    define "Asset Pricing criteria fields" =quantity, Selling term

    Quantity=1, Net price=90, selling term=1, (During new sale 10% discount was given)

    Quantity=2

    Line status=amended, Quantity=2,selling term=5, Net price=200, Delta price=110
    Note: Base price comes from PLI price on change of Quantity as it is a criteria field.
