This section provides information on configuring field expressions.
To create a field expression
Go toADMIN SETUP>Product Administration>Field Expressions. The Field Expressions page is displayed.
Click New Field Expression. The New Field Expression pop-up is displayed.
Enter the following details:

Description
Name
Enter the name of the field expression
Is Active
Turn this button on to activate the field expression.
Is Modifiable
Turn this button on to enable editing of the field expression.
Expression Type
This field is populated by default with the value Field Update.
Expression Context
This field is populated by default with the value Record Update.
Source Object
This field is populated by default with the value Line Item.
Scope
Supported values are:
Product: Applies the field expression on product line items. When you select this option, you must search and select a product in the Product field.
Product Group: Applies the field expression on the product group level. When you select this option, you must search and select a product group in the ProductGroup field.
Header: Applies the field expression on fields at the header level.
Click Create. A field expression is created and you are redirected to the details page.
In the Filter Expression, create a filter expression.
Click the f(x) button. The Create Expression pop-up is displayed.
Create a filter expression.
Click Ok.
On the Update Object drop-down, select an option. Supported values are:
Line Item
Product Attribute
In the Value Expression, create a value expression.
Click the f(x) button. The Create Expression pop-up is displayed.
Create a filter expression.
Click Ok.
Click Save.
To delete a field expression
Go toADMIN SETUP>Product Administration>Field Expressions. The Field Expressions page is displayed.
Click the ellipsis icon next to the field expression and click Delete. The Delete Field Expression pop-up is displayed.
