Conga Composer December '21 Release Notes

In these release notes, you can find packages, requirements, features, enhancements, fixed issues, and known issues for the Conga Composer December '21 release. For documentation updates, see What's New in Composer Documentation.

This documentation may describe optional features for which you have not purchased a license; therefore your solution or implementation may differ from what is described here. Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Account Executive (AE) to discuss your specific features and licensing.

Packages

The following packages and dependencies are required to upgrade to this release and use its new features. These are the minimum required versions; later versions are also supported. Prerequisites for each feature can be found in its documentation. Packages marked (New) are new for this release.

New Features

There are no new features in this release. Keep checking the Conga Documentation Portal for new updates.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are new to Conga Composer in this release.

Enhancement to the Composer Product Data Limits

For better usability and the ability to generate larger documents, Conga Composer updated the following product data limits. You can now create image-rich documents (like Product Catalogs, Product Specification Sheets, and many others) as well as documents that are quite long (like Business Plans, Quartly Business Reviews, and more).

• Aggregate output size: It is increased from 40 MB to 50 MB for Composer Business Edition and from 40 MB to 250 MB for Composer Enterprise Edition.

• Conga Batch consolidated output limit: It is 200 records in a batch and can be increased to 500 records on request.

• Conga Batch distributed email output limit: There is no longer a limit on the number of records in a batch for distributed output; however, larger batch operations must adhere to the following constraints:
  • Number of Salesforce API calls per day allowed by the Org
  • Salesforce file storage limits within the Org
  • Email provider (such as Salesforce, SendGrid, or AWS SES) limits on the number of emails to be sent per day

Salesforce API Version 52 Support

Salesforce API Version 52 is now supported by Conga Composer. The Document Automation Wizard and Template Builder give you access to all new Salesforce objects. For more information, see Support of Salesforce API Version with Composer.
