The following features are new to Conga Composer in this release.

Pre-built Quick Start Solutions

Conga Composer introduces the following six more pre-built Quick Start solutions to help you quickly get started with Composer solutions. It enables you to select and deploy pre-built solutions that include pre-configured queries, templates, and behavior settings. For more information, see Composer Quick Starts.

  1. Donation Letter
  2. Invoice
  3. Master Service Agreement (MSA)
  4. Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  5. Quote
  6. Sales Proposal

Additionally, you can use the aforementioned sample templates in your existing or new solutions as-is or modify them to meet your specific business needs. For the sample templates, see Conga Template Library for Composer Release 8.

Ability to Upload Multiple Files Using REST API

Conga Composer now allows you to upload multiple files using the MultiFile API. For more information, see Composer for REST API Developer.

Enhancements

The following enhancements are new to Conga Composer in this release.

DocuSign OAuth 2.0 Authentication Integration

Conga Composer supports OAuth 2.0 (App Password) authentication when integrating with DocuSign 7. App Password is a new way to authenticate and obtain an access token for the DocuSign 7 integration. It works by having you create a unique password (App Password) associated with your profile (user ID), and then updating the DocuSign 7 setting with App Password in the Conga Composer Setup tab. For more information, see Integrating Composer with DocuSign for Salesforce 7.

Additionally, you must pass the Signing Group ID rather than the Signing Group Name if you use the DocuSignSigningGroup parameter. The DocuSignSigningGroup parameter of Composer will no longer support a Signing Group Name. To obtain the Signing Group ID, navigate to your DocuSign account > Settings > Signing Groups. For more information, see DocuSignSigningGroup.

Increased Conga Composer Template Limit

Conga Composer Enterprise Edition allows you to merge up to 100 templates at once. Contact your Conga Representative to increase the number of templates per merge from 40 (the default) to 100. For more information on other product data limits, see Product Data Limits.

Updates to Composer Service User

You can use Lightning Component to complete the merge process as the designated Composer Service User. For more information on setting up a service user, see Setting Up Composer Service User.
